Forages Rouillier awarded the Leader award at the Gala Élite 2011 of the Chambre de commerce d’Amos

April 16, 2011 - the “Chambre de commerce d’Amos-région” held the 22nd edition of its Gala Élite with the theme “Misons sur nos Élites” at the Eskers Theatre. More than 450 people had the opportunity to participate in a show worthy of any grand casino in Las Vegas.
Among approximately 15 categories, the Leader category was directed towards medium and large businesses (companies, public or private establishments, institutions and organizations) in operation for more than two (2) years with more than 10 permanent employees. The recipient of the award is a medium or large business who has distinguished themselves due to their accomplishments, the quality of their products and services as well as the level of customer service and investments.
It is with great honour that Forages Rouillier received this award as a “Leader” in surface diamond drilling for the mining industry. The company’s revenue has increased by 75% in the last year and has created 18 new jobs. They have invested more than 2 million dollars in the manufacture of new drills and a partnership with a subcontractor to increase its striking force. The company has also reached its objective of zero accidents in one year with 78,000 hours worked without incident. The president, Mario Rouillier, highlighted the involvement of his employees who played a key role in the company receiving this award.
The Gala Élite is an event that provides the opportunity to highlight the efforts of business people as well as their vigour and passion towards their company. It is also a source of motivation and pride for employees because they participate on a daily basis in the success of entrepreneurs.
